Activating the License
After installing the Pro version, you need to activate your license to unlock all premium features. This guide explains the license activation process.
When to Activate Your License
Section titled “When to Activate Your License”License activation is required in these scenarios:
- New Installation: First time installing Pro on a site
- Domain Migration: Moving your site from staging to production
- Site Transfer: Relocating your site to a different domain
- Hosting Change: Moving to a different hosting provider
- Fresh Installation: Reinstalling WordPress or the plugin
License Activation Steps
Section titled “License Activation Steps”Step 1: Locate the Activation Link
Section titled “Step 1: Locate the Activation Link”- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
- Navigate to Plugins → Installed Plugins
- Find “WPBits Addons for Elementor Pro” in the list
- Look for the “Activate License” link below the plugin name

Step 2: Enter Your License Key
Section titled “Step 2: Enter Your License Key”- Click the “Activate License” link
- You’ll be redirected to the license activation page
- Enter your license key in the provided field
- Click the Activate button
Step 3: Confirm Activation
Section titled “Step 3: Confirm Activation”After clicking Activate:
- Wait for the confirmation message
- Verify that the status shows “Active”
- Check that Pro features are now available in Elementor
Finding Your License Key
Section titled “Finding Your License Key”Your license key is included in the “Thanks for upgrading” email sent after purchase.
If You Can’t Find the Email:
Section titled “If You Can’t Find the Email:”- Check your spam/junk folder
- Log in to your WPBits account at wpbits.net
- Navigate to your account dashboard
- Find your license key under “My Licenses” or “Downloads”
Email Not Received?
Section titled “Email Not Received?”If you didn’t receive the activation email:
- Check the email address used during purchase
- Wait 10-15 minutes (emails may be delayed)
- Contact support with your purchase details
License Management
Section titled “License Management”Checking License Status
Section titled “Checking License Status”To view your license status:
- Go to WPBits AFE menu in WordPress
- Click on License or Settings
- View current license status and expiration date
Deactivating a License
Section titled “Deactivating a License”To move your license to a different site:
- Deactivate the license on the current site
- Activate it on the new site
- Each license has a maximum number of activations based on your plan
License Types
Section titled “License Types”Annual License:
- Valid for 1 year from purchase date
- Includes updates and support during the active period
- Must be renewed yearly for continued updates
Lifetime License:
- No expiration date
- Lifetime updates and support
- One-time payment
License Renewal
Section titled “License Renewal”Annual License Renewal:
Section titled “Annual License Renewal:”- You’ll receive renewal reminders via email
- Log in to your account to renew
- After renewal, license remains active automatically
- No need to reactivate on your sites
What Happens if You Don’t Renew?
Section titled “What Happens if You Don’t Renew?”- Plugin continues to work with current version
- No access to updates or new features
- Support tickets won’t be processed
- Security updates won’t be received
